I AM ON MY OWN WORKING IN THE MISSIONS FIELD HERE IN MACHU PICCHU PERU WITH THE LOCALS AS WELL AS WITH THE NATIVES WITH LA VID. I CAN REMEBER TED AS IF IT WERE JUST YESTERDAY. I CAN STILL SEE HIM LAUGHING OVER MY SHOULDER N TELLING ME HOW CRAZY I WAS BUT HOW NICE IT WAS TO SEE THE WAY WE ARE WORKING FOR THE KINGDOM. HIS CHEERFULNESS WAS VERY ADDICTIVE AND IT JUST AFFECTED YOU FROM THE CROWN OF YOUR HEAD TO THE SOULS OF YOUR FEET. TED WIL GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS ONE OF THE CHARMING ANGEL HEROES THAT HELPED TO CHANGE THE LIVES OF THOSE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO COME INTO CONTACT WITH HIM. HE HAD THAT GRACE AND CHARISMA THAT MANY OF US HAVE WISHED FROM TIME TO TIME. MANY TIMES I WISHED I WERE LIKE HIM BUT HE TOLD ME TO PURSUE GOD'S DESIRE OF MOLDING MY WILL AND CHARACTER TO HIS DESIRE. I THAN TED FOR THAT LOVING PIECE OF COUNSEL BECAUSE THAT IS WHY I AM WHERE I AM TODAY. I FINALLY LEARNT TO LISTEN. I will also never forget you being my body guard on the long trip back from Puerto Colombia. That trip really took me out of my comfort zone. The trip to Puerto Colombia was VERY meaningful to me because that was the site of my first mission trip. I am glad that you got to be part of my reunion. I had a great time and I miss you already. I ministered to her spiritual need, I gave her some granola bars and water to share with her children and after a while she decided to move on. I quickly realized that I should be taking her to the new Church plant and introduce her to the Pastor's wife so she could take a shower and have a meal at the church. No sooner did I turn around to find her, she was gone. To this day, I feel like I failed her. If only I reached just a little further for her needs. Thank Richard,
