Dear Friends,

I wanted to take a moment to explain the efforts around the 2mites.org website. I love when people make Christianity real and I have noticed how people are inspired when you share your faith through personal stories. I am a freshman to the missionary field but have witnessed so many God moments that I wanted a way to share these incredible moments with my friends, family, and supporters.

I think if you ask anyone who works in ministry or missions (either locally or abroad), they will say that the Lord is undeniably present when working to expand His Kingdom. While developing this site,  I had the thought that if I could create a community of missionaries who share their experiences, the incredible stories and testimonies would inspire our guests to participate in the great commission.

Matthew 4:18-20 (New International Version)
18 As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. 19 “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” 20 At once they left their nets and followed him.

So the mission of the site is simple:

• Inspire fisherman
• Build awareness around missionary work
• Build a community of missionaries who would share their special stories, testimonies, and adventures

Through these stories, Inspire people to participate in the Great Commission in some meaningful way. I believe this site is unique in many ways. I have not found any community based sites on missionary work and I believe you will find the topic quite inspiring. If you know of anyone working in missions, please share this site with them. I would love them to make this site one of their virtual homes.
